->Can be seen in all the schools and universities in Singapore
->Different races come together to form student body
->more interaction
->creates competitiveness amongst students,making them work harder
->sharing of different views and ideas
One for all, all for one. Increased interaction results in us better understanding each other's cultures and creates a sense of unity.Having close contact with each other, we can have a different perspective about the situation.
One for all, all for one. With people from all over the world coming together, we also get a sense of competitiveness. This makes us strive harder for excellence, thus bringing up all our standards together.In a more pressured environment, we get more motivation to achieve what we aspire for.
Look around you.You have kids from many nationalities around you, but you are still sitting here as one class, one student body. Isn't that proof enough that globalisation is really happening everywhere.I think it is.

I like this extract! With emotional words and well-phrased sentences, it is a speech instead of an essay. "One for all, all for one" is powerful and creative!The last paragraph is good.
ReplyDeleteI think the repetition 'one for all, all for one' is good, but I don't directly see how its related to the topic you are talking about so maybe you could elaborte more?
ReplyDeleteits a really cool one =)
ReplyDeletei think can also discuss the differences first then explain about the increasing interaction and its effects to create a stronger impact
Speech is quite good. However, it is not very clear in stating the interaction between different races leads to globlisation. What 'situation' are you talking about in paragraph 1? You can talk about how this interaction has an impact on racism which is still very real.You can also talk about the possibility of conflicts.
ReplyDeleteAMENDED SPEECH(18th August):
ReplyDeleteOne for all, all for one. This is the new philosophy in our global village.Increased interaction has resulted in us better understanding each other's cultures and creating a sense of unity.Having close contact with each other, we now have a different perspective about situation we all face in our day to day lives.
