The value of animals and how we ignore their existence for our own good….(18/08/2009)

-We should be responsible owners
-Animals have feelings too.
-Animals serve humans so we should serve them too.

Animals are living things too. Therefore, they have feelings too. We should learn to respect their feeling by not abusing them. For us we have the privellage to express our feelings, but for them? Who is going to voice out their opinions? Think about them. Put yourselves in their shoes. Then you will understand the torture that they have to go through.

The rising number of animals in the SPCA would clearly show how Singaporeans take care of their pets. There was a case where two teenage boys urinated on a kitten at Henderson Crescent on September 23rd last year.

A significant number involve the mistreatment of dogs.The types of complaints range from dogs being tied up or caged up most of the day. How would you feel if you were in that cage for the whole day?

Animals are fully dependent on us once they have entered our lives. We treat our family members with great care and concern. Similarly, we should be responsible and care for them like our own family members. Animals are not our slaves. Stop abusing them! Onward Animals!

    goes straight to the point.
    strong emotions in first paragraph.
    after 'Who is going to voice out their opinions?', maybe can add one more question of similar tone to make it more emotive.

    and I like it that you pose questions, it makes the listeners more engaged.

    the slogan that you used(onward Animals" was good. keep it up! add in some of your personalexperiences instead. the questions that you asked made me stop and think which was good!

    i think the slogan was really cute and direct.the way you show that animals have feelings too is great.add some experiences and it will be a perfect speech

    I think the strongest point would be 'We should be responsible owners'. I hope more examples could be added there.
